8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: The guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter area. The pick-up time depends on the location of your hotel.

08:40 AM: The group will visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire one of the largest Bodhi trees in Vietnam.

09:30 AM: The group will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, where you will have the chance to pay respects to the beloved remains of Uncle Ho and explore the Presidential Palace area, including his living and working spaces from 1954 to 1969. Next, the group will visit the One Pillar Pagoda – a temple built in 1048 during the reign of King Ly Thai Tong.

11:00 AM: The group will continue to visit the Temple of Literature – considered the first university in Vietnam, dating back from the 11th to the 18th century.

12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the Old Quarter area.

1:30 PM: The group will visit Quang Phu Cau Village, also known as the Incense Village. This village, formed over 100 years ago, is a famous check-in location located on the outskirts of Hanoi, about 35km from the city center.

4:30 PM: The tour ends, and the guide and driver will transfer the group back to the hotel for rest or you can choose to visit one of the famous destinations in Hanoi, such as the Water Puppet Show, the Train Street, or the Ta Hien Street, where you can stop and freely explore more about the famous places in Hanoi. IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is only open in the morning on weekdays (except for Mondays and Fridays).
  • The Mausoleum is closed for maintenance for two months (from June 15th to August 15th).

We are going to express our creativity and artistic talent by painting on our own

conical hat Nón Lá while waiting for the artisan to cook for our lunch. Of

course, there will be a small cooking class if you insist to help her out! Homecooking could be a great chance to feel the real vibes of the countryside.

  • 13:00: Say goodbye to the lady, let’s make up your day by visiting Ha Thai

village, which has been producing lacquer for more than 400 years. We are going

to meet another lacquer painting artisan who is going to host us at his creative

space. Immerse yourself as a lacquer artisan by crafting your own lacquer

product following his guidance. Later, your tour guide will let you go wandering

around the village. We may stop at some family workshop to interact with other

villagers and see the craft of lacquer in mass production.

  • 15:30: Time to go back to the city center. On the way going back, we are going to

stop at a well-known export surplus clothing store. It is all original from big brands

all over the world which outsource an OEM factory in Vietnam but unlike the Outlet

store, many stuffs here are updated to the newest design but very few of it has full

range in size.

NIGHT 1: Hanoi – Sapa by train or overnight bus

DAY 01: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van

05h00: be greeted by our tour guide and driver upon arrival at Lao Cai train station, before being transferred to Sapa village, by a shared tourist bus. The bus ride uphill to Sapa takes a little over an hour, and will give you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces as you make this short trip.

Once arriving in the hotel in Sapa, an early check in follows if room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for your refreshment, before enjoying breakfast prior to going on the morning tour.

09:30 Start your tour with 6km of walking down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village, home of the Black H’mong people. Then continue with a 3km-trek down to Lao Chai village. Here we will stop for a simple lunch before exploring the village. After lunch, continue trekking through terraced rice fields to Ta Van, village of the Dzay minority people. This trek is relatively easy, though the trail can be quite slippery if it rains, so good footwear is recommended.

NIGHT 2: Overnight at homestay

DAY 02: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa

Around 09:30, after having had a restful night and enjoyable breakfast, it is time to take an 8 km walk to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao people, the H’mong who are located in Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan villages. Situated at the edge of Muong Hoa Valley, Giang Ta Chai is gaining popularity as one of the most scenic and interesting locations for visitors who enjoy experiencing the colorful traditional customs and costumes that are always on show here. While Supan is considered as a less travelled and more withdrawn village because of its small population base.

There are breath taking and beautiful landscapes throughout this mountainous area, including a stunning waterfall, rattan bridges, and some exquisite ferns and orchids that drape from the overhanging branches of so much lush vegetation. After Giang Ta Chai and Su Pan visits, it is hard to have to leave this area, but we again have opportunity to do more exploration in Sapa town, so the bus ride allows some recovery time… and lots of photos and stories will no doubt be told on the brief ride back.

Tour ends at around 15:30 or 16:00

  • Activities: Start the journey with a trek to Giang Ta Chai Village and Supan Village of the Red Dao and the H’mong people, which are located far from the center of Sapa but very attractive with coloful traditional costumes.

NIGHT 1:
21h00: Ha noi – Sapa by train or overnight bus

DAY 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Sapa (B-L-D)
05:00: Be greeted by our guide and driver upon arrival at Lao Cai Train Station before being transferred to Sapa by a shared bus. The ride uphill to Sapa takes a little over an hour and will give you a first glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces.
On arrival at the hotel in Sapa, enjoy an early check-in if the room is available, otherwise in the interim, you will have access to a basic room for refreshment before having breakfast.
09:30 – Start the day with 6km of walking down to the Southeast of Sapa along Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho village, the home of the Black H’mong. Then, you will continue walking for another 3km down to Lao Chai village. Stop at the village for lunch. After lunch, continue trekking through the rice terraces to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority. This trek is relatively easy although the trail can be quite slippery if it rains. For that reason, good footwear is recommended.
15:00 – Return to Sapa by shared bus and check into the hotel. You will then have free time to explore Sapa town, especially its market with all the colorful handicrafts.
Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Sapa Town.

NIGHT 2: Overnight at hotel

DAY 2: Cat Cat – Sin Chai – Sapa (B-L-D)
8:00 – After breakfast, you will begin the second day of your adventure by exploring the villages which are located a little bit further to the Southwest of Sapa (around 4 km) including Cat village, the home of the Black H’mong people
This trek offers some stunning views of a picturesque waterfall and the vestige of a hydro- electric power station which was built in the early 20th century.
Here you can also watch the local villagers working on the paddy rice fields and the kids playing. Enjoy the opportunity to take close-up pictures of water-buffaloes, pot-bellied pigs, and chickens. Have lunch in the village at noon.
Later, you continue to hike for another 3km to Sin Chai village, situated at the base of Hoang Lien Son Mountain with Fansipan Peak, which is also known as the roof of Vietnam and Indochina. Enjoy the panoramic view of the village and have more photo opportunities before heading back to Sapa Town.

DAY 01: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village  (L/D)

6:00-6:30 Get picked up from your hotel in Hanoi to depart for Sapa via the new highway with a comfortable short break.
13:00 13:30 – Arrive at Sapa town and be amazed by the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic people. Enjoy welcome drinks and itinerary briefing. Then, have lunch with local Vietnamese dishes before you start your trekking.
14:00 Start trekking about 6 km to the Southeast of Sapa along the slopes of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of Black H’mong. After that, we will continue walking about 3 km to Lao Chai village of the H’mong people. Tourists need to walk through a small tunnel/over a small bridge leading to Muong Hoa valley to get inside the village.
16:00 – Arrive at Ta Van village; a commune of Sa Pa, 12 km from the center of the town. It is an area with many ethnic groups, including the Day and the H’mong. Ta Van is a tourist area with landmarks such as Sapa Ancient Stone Field, Cau May, House on Stilt and many ethnic specialties.
17:00 – Check-in at homestay. You can join in a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Vietnamese spring rolls.
18:30 – Enjoy local dishes for dinner. Overnight at homestay.

DAY 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai Village – Supan- Sapa – Hanoi (B/L)

7:00 – Have breakfast at the Homestay
8:00 – Giang Ta Chai Village and Supan Village will be 2 places that you will visit in the morning of the 2nd day. We will walk 8 km to visit Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao people where is one of the attractive places for travelers who want to experience colorful traditions and customs.
12:00 Enjoy lunch then rest at the local restaurant
14:00 – Car picks you up back to Sapa Town
15:00 – Meet all other group members at the hotel to get ready for the bus to return to Hanoi.
15:00 – 15:30 – Get on the bus back to Hanoi
21:30 – Arrive in Hanoi. End of tour.

DAY 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village Sin Chai (L/D)
06:00- 06:30 Our bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway.
10:00 – Follow the highway to Lao Cai City with a comfortable short break on the way to Sapa.
13:00 13:30 Arrive at Sapa town and be amazed by the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Dzay ethnic people. Then, have lunch with local Vietnamese dishes before the hotel check-in.
14:30 – We start walking to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and locate near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk up hill to get back to Sapa with very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon.

The tour guide continues to take the group to visit Sin Chai village located on the slopes of Fansipan mountain.
17:00 – Return to Sapa town for dinner. Enjoy your free time in the afternoon to explore Sapa Market and town. Overnight at the hotel

DAY 2: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa – Hanoi (B/L)
7:00 Have breakfast at the hotel.
8:30 – Start trekking about 6 km to the Southeast of Sapa along the slopes of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of Black H’mong.
